Thanks to the financial support of local businesses like RI Children’s Dentistry and Orthodontics, The Prout School in Wakefield will soon break ground on a lighted, artificial turf field on its campus. The school intends for the field, which will accommodate soccer and lacrosse, to be available to outside youth groups whenever the Prout Crusaders are not on the field. In addition to local businesses, funding for the project came from The Diocese of Providence, Prout students and their families, alumni and several family foundations.
