Traditional Braces – The most common type of braces, traditional metal braces are more comfortable, sleeker, and smaller today than ever before. Traditional braces can correct crooked and crowded teeth, jaw development, and a misaligned bite. As a result, traditional braces may eliminate problems you may have with eating, speaking properly, or with keeping your teeth clean. With metal braces, you have the option to customize your braces by adding colored elastics.

Clear Braces – Clear bracket braces are similar to traditional braces except that the brackets are clear. They are less visible on your teeth than metal braces and tend to be more popular among older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns. Clear braces are more commonly used on the upper front teeth than the lower teeth.

Clear Aligners (Invisalign®) – A series of clear, removable, and comfortable plastic trays that are custom fitted to your teeth. Invisalign trays are removable making eating or drinking easier while in treatment. Brushing and flossing tend to be less of an inconvenience and the aligners are more comfortable having no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment.
