Dr. Sumer Panesar is a highly accomplished dental professional with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care to his patients. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of New Hampshire in 2016, where he distinguished himself academically and was honored with induction into the esteemed Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Panesar also earned the prestigious title of Chief Class Marshal. Dr. Panesar then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan in 2021. His dedication to excellence led to his induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society. After obtaining his D.D.S., Dr. Panesar further expanded his expertise by earning a Master of Science and Dentistry and his Orthodontic Certificate from Indiana University in 2023. While at Indiana University, Dr. Panesar was recognized as a Chancellor Scholar, a testament to his exceptional academic performance and dedication to his field. He honed his skills through rigorous orthodontic residencies, including the Aligner Intensive Fellowship and the Comprehensive Orthodontic Care Clinic.

Apart from his professional accomplishments, Dr. Panesar has actively contributed to his community. He served as an Emergency Medical Technician at McGregor Memorial EMS, demonstrating his commitment to helping others in times of need. He also played an integral role on the executive committee for the Bridge of Disciplines in Ann Arbor, MI, where he actively promoted interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. From 2017 to 2021, Dr. Panesar served as the Director of Dental Services at the University of Michigan Student Run Free Clinic, providing much-needed dental care to underserved populations.
